使用糖尿病的动物，不论是第一型或笫二型的糖尿病，评估中草药的疗效。同时，深入解明 其致效的分子作用机转乃是目前的工作重点。
另外，对于临床常见的胰岛素抗阻(Insulin Resistance) 也是全力在探寻的要项。希望研发病人适用的新药，尤其是糖分或脂质代谢异常者，一直都 是追求的主旨
