Chinese Journal of Current Traditional and Western Medicine is a scholarly publication of Traditional and Western Medicine. The journal is published monthly by Hong Kong Medical Technologies Publisher, and the publication of the journal started in 2004. The Chinese Academy of  Clinical Medicine sponsors the Journal.

　　The range of the journal extends over the whole range of integrated TCM and Western Medicine including clinical research and clinical progress. The purpose is to report the new important progress of  integrated TCM and Western Medicine research, advances in the academic exchange of nursing in China and abroad, therefore to provide a field for exchanging experience, inspiring mutually and linking up information for those working for integrated TCM and Western Medicine. It is intended for high and middle ranking professionals.  The main columns of the journal include expert forum, original articles, investigation research, reviews , clinical experience , overseas traditional medicine ,etc.

　　The journal publishes all original papers, letters, and reviews concerning basic and applied researches. The original articles are written in Chinese or English, if in Chinese they should include an Extended English Abstract.

　　The journal is compiled according to the related international standards. The table of contents, colophon, as well as the abstracts, key words of each thesis are written in English. Most of the articles are contributed from basic hospital and TCM colleges of China, and parts of them are from abroad. The journal has been indexed by many databases and searching publications since its starts publication, such as：

　　Chinese BioMedical disc (CBMdisc), Chinese Medical Current Contents (CMCC), Chinese Scientific Journal Database (CSJD), China Journal Net (CJN), etc. and Medical Library of Chinese PLA.

　　A group of editors with high scientific morale and quality at specialty are responsible for dealing with papers presented by authors seriously .The process of publication is strictly in conformity with international practice. As an academic media, we have invited a large number of professionals in the field as members of the editorial board.
