Journal of Chinese Modern Gynaecology and Obstetrics（ISSN 1681-2654）is a scholarly publication of Gynaecology and Obstetrics. The journal was published monthly by Hong Kong Medical Technologies Publisher, and the journal was started in 2005. The Chinese Academy of  Clinical Medicine sponsors the Journal.

　　The purposes are to report the new important progress of Gynaecology and Obstetrics research, advances in the women health research field in China and abroad.It is intended for high and middle ranking professionals in the area. The main columns of the journal include original articles, reviews, clinical medicine, women and children health, clinical experience, health education, investigation, etc. The original articles are written in Chinese or English, if in Chinese they include an Extended English Abstract.

　　The journal is compiled according to the related international standards. Table of contents, colophon, as well as the abstracts, key words of each thesis are written in English. Most of the articles are contributed from China, and some ones of them are from abroad. The journal has been indexed by many database and searching publications since the starting of publication, such as：

　　Chinese Medical Current Contents (CMCC), China Journal Net (CJN), etc. and Medical Library of Chinese PLA.
As an academic media, we have invited a large number of professionals in Gynaecology and Obstetrics field as members of editorial board.
